Some clues to help you

As I could imagine, it would be normal if you have some problems when dealing with 1st and 2nd conditional, and its use.

It is not always easy to determine what we want to say and which structure we should use. For that reason, I am going to give you some typical examples of WRONG uses of conditionals.

I wish it can help you!

- If she gets the job, she'd have to move to France.
If she got the job, she'd have to move to France.

- They wouldn't sell their house, even if someone offers them a million euros.
They wouldn't sell their house, even if someone offered them a million euros.

- If he doesn't like the job so much, he wouldn't work so hard, but he loves it.
If he didn't like the job so much, he wouldn't work so hard, but he loves it.

- If I could choose my job, I'll be a journalist.
If I could choose my job, I would be a journalist.

- We'd go to the cinema more often, if we'd have the time.
We'd go to the cinema more often, if we had the time.

As you can see there are a lot of mistakes you can commit. So, take care and pay attention to the combination of the tenses!

Good luck!
